One of the etiquettes of serving Arabic coffee in Jordan, is to serve it to the guest with the right hand and to hold the pot with the left hand. Another is a a custom known as “Sab Al-Heshma,” where the guest’s cup is to be filled to only one third, if it exceeds this, it indicates the presence of hostile feelings towards the guest.
